How BNBSwap Crypto Exchange Works

BNBSwap uses an order-based crypto-to-crypto exchange flow. You choose the asset you send, the asset you receive and the exact source and destination networks, review the current quote, provide the payout wallet and then send the deposit shown for that order.

The service separates blockchain confirmation time from BNBSwap processing time. The typical BNBSwap processing range is 7–15 minutes after the required blockchain confirmations, while the total time can be longer when the source network is congested, confirmations take longer or an order requires additional review.

The BNBSwap Exchange Flow

A BNBSwap order moves through a short sequence of user and network checkpoints rather than a trading account or order book. Each checkpoint has a different purpose: route selection determines the networks, the quote defines the current exchange conditions, the deposit starts the transaction and the payout completes the order.

The order details generated for the current transaction are the source of truth. Do not reuse a deposit address, amount or quote from an older order because route conditions can change.

Select the assets and networks. Choose what you send and receive, then confirm the exact blockchain used on each side.

Review the quote and conditions. Check the expected receive amount, minimum, service-fee range and available rate mode.

Enter the destination wallet. Use an address that supports the payout asset on the destination network.

Create the order. BNBSwap generates the current deposit details for that transaction.

Send the deposit. Transfer the required asset through the source network shown by the order.

Wait for confirmations. The source blockchain must reach the required confirmation state before service processing begins.

Exchange processing. BNBSwap processes the confirmed order according to the selected route and quote conditions.

Receive the payout. The destination asset is sent directly to the wallet address provided for the order.

Select the Correct Asset and Network

A ticker is not enough to identify an on-chain asset. ETH, BTC, SOL and TRX use their native networks on the approved BNBSwap routes, while BNB uses native BNB on BNB Smart Chain; stablecoin routes on BNB Smart Chain must match the exact token supported by the service.

Before creating an order, confirm the source network in the sending wallet or exchange and the destination network in the receiving wallet. A familiar asset name or a valid-looking address does not make two blockchains interchangeable.

For BNB Smart Chain token and address terminology, see What Is BEP20? and What Is a BEP20 Address?.

Review the Live Quote and Order Conditions

The live exchange quote shows the executable conditions for the order you are creating. Reference charts, converters and market data can help with context, but they do not replace the quote generated by the exchange form.

BNBSwap uses a canonical estimated service-fee range of 0.31%–1.09%, with a starting minimum of about $13 equivalent. Quotes refresh every 23 seconds, and a fixed-rate window of up to 9 minutes can be available where the selected route and rate mode support it.

The live order remains authoritative because route availability, amount limits and market conditions can change.

Enter the Destination Wallet

The payout address must support the asset on the network shown by the order. For example, a native BTC payout requires a Bitcoin-compatible destination, while a native BNB payout requires a BNB Smart Chain-compatible wallet.

Check the destination before sending the deposit because blockchain payouts are designed to go directly to the address entered for the order. BNBSwap does not need your seed phrase, private key or wallet password to send the payout.

Create the Order and Send the Deposit

After the amount, route and destination are confirmed, BNBSwap creates the order and displays the current deposit instructions. Send the exact asset through the source network identified by that order.

Do not send a different token representation simply because it uses the same ticker. Also avoid copying deposit details from a previous order, because the amount, route or deposit destination can be different.

Blockchain Confirmations Come First

A crypto deposit must be recognized by its source blockchain before BNBSwap can process it as a confirmed order. Confirmation behavior differs between Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, TRON and BNB Smart Chain, so total waiting time is not identical across routes.

The 7–15 minute BNBSwap processing estimate begins after the required blockchain confirmations. It is therefore separate from the time the source network needs to include and confirm the deposit.

Processing and Direct Wallet Payout

Once the required source confirmations are reached, BNBSwap processes the exchange and sends the destination asset to the wallet specified in the order. The payout uses the destination network defined by the selected route.

Direct payout means the result is sent to the destination address rather than being held as an internal trading balance. The receiving wallet or exchange can still apply its own deposit-crediting or confirmation policy after the payout is broadcast.

How to Track an Order or Transaction

Use the BNBSwap order status together with blockchain transaction data. A source transaction hash can show whether the deposit reached the source network, while a payout transaction hash can confirm that the destination transfer was broadcast.

For BNB Smart Chain activity, BscScan can show transaction status and confirmations. Other routes use the explorer appropriate to the source or destination blockchain.

If the blockchain shows a confirmed deposit but the order has not progressed as expected, contact BNBSwap Support with the order ID and transaction hash.

Why an Exchange Can Take Longer

Most delays come from a specific checkpoint rather than from one generic processing stage. Identifying that checkpoint makes it easier to understand whether the source network, the exchange order or the receiving platform is responsible for the wait.

Common causes include:

  • source blockchain confirmations taking longer than usual;
  • a deposit sent with a different amount, asset or network than the order requires;
  • congestion or temporary instability on the source or destination network;
  • a receiving exchange waiting for its own confirmation threshold;
  • route availability changing before a new order is created;
  • an order requiring additional risk or compliance review.

A delayed transaction should be checked by order ID and transaction hash rather than by repeating the transfer.

What BNBSwap Controls and What the Blockchain Controls

The exchange service and the blockchain are separate parts of the transaction. BNBSwap controls the order flow, quote presentation, exchange processing and payout initiation; the relevant blockchains control transaction inclusion, network fees and confirmation timing.

Understanding this separation helps diagnose timing without treating every network delay as an exchange-service delay.

Need Help with an Order?

BNBSwap Support can help identify the order stage, compare the deposit with the selected route and review transaction details. Include the order ID, transaction hash, source asset/network and destination asset/network so the support request can be matched to the correct flow.

Use the Contacts page for order help. For transaction-review rules that can apply to some orders, see the BNBSwap AML Policy.

FAQ

The questions below cover common process edge cases without repeating the full lifecycle above. For a specific order, use the live order details and transaction hashes as the current source of truth.

How does a crypto swap work on BNBSwap?

You select the source and destination assets, review the live quote, enter the payout wallet and send the required deposit. After the source transaction reaches the required confirmations, BNBSwap processes the exchange and sends the payout to the destination address.

How long does a BNB transaction take?

Blockchain confirmation time depends on the network state and the transaction itself, so it should not be treated as the same thing as BNBSwap processing time. BNBSwap's typical service-processing range is 7–15 minutes after the required confirmations have been reached.

How can I track a BNB transaction?

Use the transaction hash on a BNB Smart Chain explorer such as BscScan to check whether the transaction was included and confirmed. For a BNBSwap order, combine the blockchain status with the order status to see which stage is still in progress.

Why is my USDT transfer taking longer than expected?

The source transaction may still be waiting for confirmations, the wrong network or token representation may have been used, or the order may require additional review. Check the exact source network and transaction hash before contacting support.

Can I reuse an old BNBSwap deposit address?

Use the deposit details generated for the current order rather than assuming an older address or amount is still valid. A new order can have different route conditions, deposit instructions or quote timing.

Does BNBSwap need my seed phrase?

No. BNBSwap Support does not need your seed phrase, private key or wallet password to process or troubleshoot an exchange order.
